Company History
What began as one man’s dedication to dependable service has grown into a trusted logistics partner for customers across North America.
In 1973, founder Charles F. Bressler entered the San Francisco air freight pickup and delivery industry with a simple mission: provide reliable transportation solutions and build lasting customer relationships. Through hard work and a commitment to service, Charles expanded the business, and by 1980 operated a fleet of cabovers, bobtails, and cargo vans serving the region’s growing air freight market.
In 1992, Charles’s son, Joseph F. Bressler, joined the company, learning every aspect of the business from the ground up. Together, they recognized that customers needed more than transportation—they needed a complete logistics partner.
To meet those evolving needs, the company expanded in 1995 with service between San Francisco and Los Angeles. As demand continued to grow, we broadened our reach in 2001, offering transportation services throughout all 50 states and into parts of Canada and Mexico.
Today, Cargo Solutions USA provides comprehensive logistics solutions under our own authority, including over-the-road trucking, intermodal rail, and ocean freight services. We are proud to serve as a single-source provider for many of our customers’ supply chain needs.
