Company History

Our founder Charles F. Bressler started in the local SFO Air Freight pickup & delivery industry in 1973. By 1980 Charles had a fleet of cabovers, bobtails, and cargo vans primarily servicing the air freight industry. 1992 his son, Joseph F. Bressler joined the team starting from the bottom and working his way up.

We realized that in order to provide a supply chain solution to our customers we needed to expand into other facets of cargo transportation. In 1995, we began to offer service between San Francisco & Los Angeles. When the demand for service grew to encompass a larger geographical area, the company responded quickly in 2001 offering services to all 50 states including parts of Canada and Mexico.

Today, we continue to diversify our services under our own logistics authority to include: Intermodal-rail, Ocean, and over the road becoming a single source outlet for many of our customer’s logistic departments.

Landstar Affiliated Agent

Cargo Solutions-USA became affiliated as an agent for Landstar of Rockford, IL / Jacksonville, FL in September 2005. Landstar is one of the largest truckload carriers in the USA. Working together, Landstar and its network of more than 1,200 independent sales agents, 10,000 business capacity owners, 49,000 contract carriers, and warehouse capacity owners draw on a variety of equipment.Together we utilize the most innovative technology to ensure every customer a safe, reliable, and cost-effective supply chain solution. All Landstar operating companies are certified to ISO 9001: 2015 quality management systems standards.
